and the battles were completely one-sided. like the Battle of Myeongnyang, japanese strength, 333 ships
korean, 13 ships

japanese casualties, 31 ships sunk, 92 ships damaged beyond reapair, 8,000 men lost
korean casualties, 2 killed 3 wounded

I believe his ingenious tactics have been studied and since been used in many other naval battles, even the Japanese applauded his talent at whooping their asses so many times. His way's will live on in one form or another.
